Core Principle: We value your privacy. The Periodic Table app is a purely local educational application that does not collect any personally identifiable information, does not connect to network servers, and stores all data locally on your device only.

1. Information We Collect

This app does NOT collect the following types of personal data:

Location data
Device identifiers or advertising identifiers
Photos, camera, or microphone data
Contacts or calendar information

2. Locally Stored Data

To provide learning progress tracking and a personalized experience, the app stores the following information locally on your device (via iOS UserDefaults):

Learning Progress: Your mastery status for each element (Not Learned / Learning / Mastered)
Favorites: Elements you have favorited
Recent Views: Recently viewed element records
Quiz Records: Accuracy statistics from quiz sessions
Achievement Data: Unlocked achievements and study streak counts
App Settings: Daily reminder preferences, reminder time, sound effects, quiz time limit

All of the above data is stored entirely on your device locally and is not uploaded to any server or shared with third parties.

3. Notification Permission

The app may request permission to send local notifications for daily study reminders. These notifications are triggered entirely by your device locally and do not involve any network communication or data transmission.

4. Third-Party Services

This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. All features run locally without requiring a network connection.

5. Data Security

Since all data is stored only on your device, data security is protected by iOS sandbox mechanisms. When you delete the app, all locally stored data will also be removed.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is suitable for users of all ages and is particularly designed for students. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete it immediately.

7. Your Rights

View Data: All learning data is visible within the app
Delete Data: You can reset all learning data with one click in the app Settings
Uninstall App: Deleting the app will completely remove all local data
